A slightly undulating stage almost certainly destined for a bunch sprint, unless the uphill stretch in the last 2 km favors a finisseur. The riders will navigate the rolling terrain of Brianza and Varese, skimming the Swiss border before reaching Cantù, where they will complete two laps of a nearly 30 km circuit. The circuit is quite punchy, with several short climbs and frequent direction changes requiring constant acceleration.
Last Km
The final kilometers feature a hairpin turn that leads onto a slightly uphill final straight of over 500 meters, with gradients exceeding 7% in the final stretch.

Fiera Milano (Rho)

Overview

Today, the Fiera Milano exhibition centre in Rho is a showcase of excellence for Italy and Europe: a modern, versatile and user-friendly structure, capable of attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors thanks to internationally renowned trade fairs, high-level services, iconic architecture and constantly evolving proposals. A true exhibition and congress hub, in the beating heart of Lombardy. The exhibition centre project stems from a profound renewal of the Milan trade fair system and the desire to move the largest and most international activities to a more suitable space. Built between 2002 and 2005 on the disused area of an Eni refinery, the innovative complex was designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas and officially inaugurated on 31 March 2005. The operation, promoted by Fondazione Fiera Milano – founded in 2000 from the establishment of the Ente Autonomo Fiera di Milano (1922) – represents a milestone in the process of urban and trade fair rethinking in Lombardy’s capital city.
