Davide Donati (Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe Rookies) won Stage 2 of the Giro Next Gen Carta Giovani Nazionale, the 154-kilometre Tropea–Crotone stage, and claimed the Maglia Rosa as leader of the general classification. Aldo Taillieu (Team Visma | Lease a Bike Development) and Aubin Sparfel (Decathlon CMA CGM Development Team) finished second and third respectively.
